abduelhamit.o@protonmail.comTechnical issues are best filed on GitHub Issues, where you can follow the fix. To help me reproduce it, please include:
Prayer times depend entirely on the city set in the app. Open Settings → Location and confirm the correct country, region and city are selected — a nearby city with a similar name is the usual cause.
Times come from the official Diyanet AwqatSalah service. If your city is set correctly and times still differ from your local mosque, that difference comes from the calculation method Diyanet uses, which the app cannot change.
Check these in order:
Notifications are scheduled about ten days ahead. If the app has not been opened for a long time and had no network access, open it once to let it schedule the next batch.
Open Settings → Location and pick country, region and city. Your recently used locations are kept, so switching back when you travel takes one tap.
The Ramadan tab is off by default. Turn it on in Settings → Ramadan and it appears as a third tab at the bottom.
iOS decides when widgets refresh, and it limits how often that happens to save battery — a short delay is normal.
If a widget stays stale for a long time, open the app once to refresh its data. If that does not help, remove the widget and add it again. Also make sure Background App Refresh is enabled under iOS Settings → Prayer Tracker.
Yes. Everything you track is stored locally on your device and nowhere else — there is no account and no cloud backup. Deleting the app deletes your history with it.
That is a deliberate privacy trade-off: your prayer record never leaves your iPhone. An iCloud or device backup made before deleting the app will restore the data if you restore from that backup.
In the app: Settings → Delete all data. This clears your entire tracking history and cannot be undone. Deleting the app removes everything as well.
Tracking your prayers works completely offline. Prayer times are downloaded and cached, so previously loaded days keep working without a connection. To load times for a new month or a new city, the app needs internet access once.
Please do — email me or open an issue on GitHub. I cannot promise a timeline, but suggestions genuinely shape what gets built next.
